Sweet Heart Cakes is a brand new dessert café which its owner, hospitality veteran John Vozvotekas calls a ‘sweet treats boutique’. Since opening in February 2022, the outlet’s ovens have been busy turning out a huge variety of cakes, pastries, biscuits and specialty traditional Greek sweets. For John, this is his fourth hospitality business. Already the owner/operator of two other cafes and a restaurant, John is well versed in the establishment and fit out of dining venues.
When planning the equipment needs for Sweet Heart Cakes, John wanted all refrigeration requirements to be furnished by a single brand, one that could be relied upon for reliable support if the need arose.
A complete fit out was required for both the front and back-of-house operations, including food displays, storage fridge, freezers and an ice machine. All products had to be robust and strong to withstand heavy commercial usage.
Additionally, John’s chef had one special request. All products had to be easy to operate, something he could “set and forget”.
